Lostock Hall is a suburban village in South Ribble borough, Lancashire. It is located on the south side of the River Ribble, three miles south of Preston, near Digitec Aerials offices and 2.5 miles north of Leyland. It is surrounded on the southeast by a motorway interchange. The surrounding area is predominantly rural and agricultural. There are also some large industrial and business parks in the area. During the summer, the village attracts an estimated four million visitors each year.
The town was established in the early 1800s and has many small businesses. There are pubs and restaurants in the town.
